I am John. I am passionate about fashion and love to share my views with everyone. Fashion is a huge part of everyday life so you need to make sure you like great at all times, but always at the best prices possible.

How to best represent your fashion style

It’s true that most bosses may not bother checking the label of your coat or dress unless your position is high profile where dressing matters. However, the dress you wear will make an impression of the boss or any other important person.

The colors you wear, how fitting the cloth is, the much skin you show may affect how other people perceive you. In fact, how you dress would in most likely determine the far up the ladder you go in your career and could mean a promotion or job loss. That is why you cannot afford to dress recklessly for work.

Consider the following and let your dress market you.

Have your audience in mind as you dress

Every day, you need to think about what you are up to for the day. Is it a meeting you have or just an ordinary day in the office? Are you going for some fieldwork or some activity that would make you sweat? Putting this into consideration would enable you to dress for the occasion and therefore appropriately.

Think about the people that you’ll be meeting during the day; dress to impress them- if you are a lady are will be meeting a group of old respectable men, it’s good to go official with little skin exposure. Even if the other people are dressed in some Polo or khaki shirts, choose a nicer outfit; give a better image of who you are.

Neatness is key

Dressing neat doesn’t involve much of your money. It could be just an ordinary shirt or blouse but the way you put it on matters a lot. Try tucking it in even if the others have not; this will distinguish you from them and thus earn points.

Any opportunity that arises, you can be sure that the boss would give you a priority over those others. It could be that casual wear is encouraged at your workplace, as brilliant as that might be, it doesn’t mean that you put on those jeans with holes. Ensure you are decent in that casual wear.

Look as sharp as you can

Whenever possible, try to dress sharply. This is close to dressing neatly and dressing for the occasion. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look sharp though, nope, there are quite affordable outfits that will cost you a few dollars and have a nice touch- go for such. Dressing sharp means having your style and maintaining it.

That doesn’t mean that you should dress absurdly so that everyone in the office knows how terrible you dress. Avoid excesses that might draw the attention of the audience to your clothe and not what you’re saying. Again, you must dress as per the season; dress for winter, summer, fall appropriately.

Keep the right size

A well-tailored cloth would be perfect for you. Always ensure that you buy the right size of your outfit- not too tight or loose. One of the best ways to keep the right size is to have a specific vendor for your clothes. This is someone who will get your measurements and would always ensure that you have the right outfit.

Too loose clothes, for instance, make you look lazy and could sometimes give the impression that you don’t care about your job. Wearing too tight on the other hand could distract your colleagues. Risqué dressing, for instance, is inappropriate for all jobs and this could portray you as less intelligent and incompetent.

At Trueface, you have all types of clothes, shoes and any clothes you can think of. Here, we also give advice on how to dress appropriately and for a purpose.

Mind about what you put on and be deliberate on every outfit you put on. Do not miss an opportunity just because of your carelessness.
